Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.
Meru National Park is a Kenyan national park located east of Meru, 350 km from Nairobi. Covering an area of 870 km², it is one best known national parks in Kenya. Rainfall in this area is abundant with 635–762 mm in the west of the park and 305–356 mm in the east. The rainfall results in tall grass and lush swamps.
Day 1 : Transfer to Amboseli National Park
You’ll be picked up by our driver from your hotel and transferred to Amboseli National Park. You’ll have lunch at the lodge and they have an evening game drive. The drive is very scenic and you will have more stops for photography and viewing.
Day 2 : Meru National Park
After breakfast as you enjoy the good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we shall set off for a visit to the Masai villages and drive to Meru National Park, we shall have a stopover for lunch at an upscale restaurant in Nairobi and reach the Park in time for an afternoon game drive. Here we can expect to see buffalo, rhino, giraffe, zebra, antelope and the lions that prey on them as well as birds.
Day 3 : Return Trip to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will have a game drive through the park as you head out to drive to Nairobi.
