Lake Nakuru is situated some 160 km northwest of Nairobi is often known for t's a soda lake renowned for its incredibly large flocks of flamingos which turn the lake pink, their numbers reaching into the hundreds of thousands. It's said to be the 'greatest bird spectacle in the world'.
Lake Naivasha is an ancient freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley and is set at its highest point, 1,890 m (6,200 ft) above sea level. The outlet for this lake, Njorwa Gorge, forms the entrance to Hell's Gate National Park which has spectacular examples of rock formations and an abundance of flora and fauna, including some extremely rare breeding pairs of Lammergeyers, also known as bearded vultures.
Day 1 : Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Our driver will pick you up at either the airport or hotel and drive you to Lake Nakuru National park. You have lunch at the lodge and they have an afternoon and evening game drive. The drive is very scenic and you will have more stops for photography and viewing. Lake Nakuru national park is graced with different animals such as the black and white Rhino, the Rothschild Giraffe, leopards, lions, chandler’s reedbuck, impala and many others.
Day 2 : Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park
After your breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge and have an early game drive and then proceed to lake Naivasha national park where you will do a boat ride to crescent island. Once there you will take a walk on the island with an expert resident where you will be able to see different types of animals.
Day 3 : Return Trip to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will have a game drive through the park as you head out to drive to Nairobi.
